IVF- INDIA: Achievements

The Gouri group of hospitals was founded in 1978 by Dr. Gouri Devi and Dr. Chander Prakash. The hospital was doing basic infertility treatments with good results since its inception. As we analyzed our hugely successful women care practice we realized that 10% of our OPD patients in the department of Gynecology & Obstetrics had trouble conceiving naturally. Thus was born IVF – India with a mission to provide state of the art infertility treatment to couples. Assisted Reproduction Techniques became part of our infertility treatment in 1990 and we delivered our first IVF baby in 1996. So far 500 ART babies have been born with our treatment. Our success rates in the treatment of patients with PCOD are unmatched with a conception rate of 80%. Dr. Gouri’s paper on “CLINICAL PROFILE OF 50 CASES OF PCOS CONCEIVED” presented in AOGD was awarded a gold medal. Laparo-Hysteroscopy (Diagnostic &Operative) is an integral part of our infertility treatment since 1994 and we have achieved high success rates in the same.
